Mrs Chan’s husband is always on the road, Mr Chow’s wife works as a night receptionist. They are invisible but yet powerfully present. An enigma, a pain, an unbearable burden. Mirrors and glass stand between them, capturing their thoughts. Crouching behind the curtains, the camera shows what is happening through glass: sometimes we see only a part of it or hear what is not meant for us.
