This is the most valued medicinal mushroom in the world. The king of fungi. The universal adaptogen. The symbol of immortality. Venerated as a miraculous elixir by ancient Chinese dynasties and seen by countless traditions as the god of healing. The star of the first pharmacopoeia from 2697 BC, it is often prescribed to stimulate the immune system, bolster defences, slow down ageing and support convalescence. Reishi is also used to fight insomnia and address energy blockages. It’s extremely difficult to find it in nature, so we’ve been cultivating it here at papiroga to add it to this collection in the form of an earring.
