COUPLES

This is Mr Chow. This is Mrs Chan. They both move into the same building on the same day with their respective partners. Increasingly estranged from their absent partners, they begin to notice each other. Their paths cross again and again. They begin to strike up a polite friendship and discover that their respective partners are having an affair. Together they find complicity in each other’s abandonment. They start seeing each other and pretend to be each other’s partner to understand the reasons for adultery. They put themselves in their place. They imagine their adventure.
