ILLUMINATED NIGHT

The night shines for the lovers that escaped to the deep forest. The stars guide their steps from the sky. They crisscross their hands and raise promises to the sky: their love will be everlasting, no one and nothing would beat it. But, just some meters far, crouched down between the trees, the questioning gaze of the Great Brahman preludes the end of their dreams. The stars disappear. Dark. (Act I, scene I)
