THE MYTH

The titans petrified within the depths of the caves must have been used for the construction of dreams, for the elaboration of myths that began to come to life when we began to give more importance to representation than to what was represented: the painted bison above the living one. But it is not just a temporal abyss that separates us from them – we are unable to understand them. The poems, songs, languages and customs have been lost forever, but these images, these paintings that we still have and that we cannot decipher, what do they want to tell us? Will we ever be able to understand them?
