Bear

2016
A bear has crept into our showroom!

And this, thanks to Marian Engel, whose novel -which explores the relationship between this adorable animal and a young librarian on a remote island of Canada- marveled us to a point that impeled us on dedicating our latest collection. It is, on one hand, an intimate journey to the depths of Nature, in which we reproduce the essence of winter landscape -from the lush Canadian forest to the disturbing presence of this furred Mammalian-; and, secondly, a tribute full of lyricism and sensitivity to the unlimited power of the women, away from the ties of civilized world.

This new accessories line, which shifts to a visual language the different chapters of this history, reproducing the successive scenes into fabulous necklaces, brooches and earrings, thus divided into five mini-collections (river -blue and transparents-, shore -blues and toffees-, bear -wines and pinks-, forest -golds and blacks- and woman -pinks and blacks-), elaborated all in plexiglas: a never-seen-before material in jewelry, that provides forceful shapes but really light. And, furthermore, really easy to combine.

Published in 1976, the novel won, since its launch, an extraordinary reception from both critics and the public, and it’s already part, on its own right, of the must-have books of the contemporary literature pantheon.
