ANOTHER COPPER

The heavy, displaced mass of another indigenous copper extracted from Lake Superior seems to pride itself on being able to show, despite its thickness, the sharp, thin character of the metal, which is never found in the rocks, even in the most weathered ones. (…) Here the almost complete range of greens is on display, resembling lichen vegetation. They illuminate a sedimentary layer shaped by geology, as the fleeting winter shapes the streams of water. Rare in detail, almost clandestine, the greens whose home is copper hold sway without it being easy to clearly distinguish their strongholds and delineate their zones of influence.
