STATION UNDER CONSTRUCTION

This one in Paris isn’t the oldest or the busiest, but it did lend its name to the most popular mode of transport of our times: the Métropolitain. An icon of the so-called City of Light with a design recognised all across the planet: from the Art Nouveau entrances and its tile-lined curved roofs to the signs with a blue background inspired by street signs that add a touch of extra glamour to the platforms. How could we not dedicate this oversized necklace to it?
