At the time of the launching of Xul’s paintings retrospective at The National Art Gallery of La Plata in 1968, Borges declares: “Poets and thinkers have suspected that life is a dream, this is to say that living and dreaming are simmilar activities. Our friend felt that we could conduct this universal dream and give it new shapes, and that nothing makes us postulate that the addition of the cosmo’s chances had been exhausted”.
