On a ghostly atmosphere, the spectrum of 24 bayadères go slowly down over a helicoidal slipway till they reach the stage. Dressed with their white tulles, splendid and delicate, they draw over their enchanting tips, on an hypnotic recurrence of subtly rhythmic movements, a one-of-a-kind, memorable scene, one of those ecstasy instants that sometimes occur over a stage.
