SPECTRUM DANCE

The spectrum dance on the Other World -in the middle of Act II- acquires a magical dimension with Minkus hypnotic melody and Petipa’s ghostly choreography. While it is true that it is not a specially difficult movement for the dancers, it’s usually considered one of the top moments for the whole corps de ballet. Such a sublime moment it is that even some reviewers proposed that the actors would get out just at the end of the scene to receive the applauses purposely.
