THE KISS

Everything can change with a kiss. Its power is such that it can even stop the world. Specially if we talk about The Bayadère. But not among its two main characters. Not even between Devadasi and Solor. We mean the one of the lethal snake in Nikiya’s jugular. A fatal kiss that will mark the play’s fate and will confine the naive bayadère to the Kingdom of Shadows. (Act I, scene III)
