BLACK COCO

65,00

Black Coco was the first. Then followed Marine Coco, Algae Coco and Sand Coco. The anatomy of the strange creature documented in the on-board notebooks of Russel Wallace (Marshall Islands, 1736) piqued our interest. It was unlike any living animal: a serpentine neck projected from a rotund body equipped with four hydrodynamic legs, culminating in a smiling face complete with turban and earrings. And, on both sides, maracas. Although the surprising discovery would be completed years later with one of his oceanic brothers, contemporary scientific literature did not recognise his merits. He is well deserving, therefore, of these earrings created in tribute.
