For those days when one gets up a bit off-coloured.
In the deepest depths of the Mariana Trench, between two tectonic plates, a scar -a crevice- sinks to the centre of the Earth. An unknown world shrouded in silence, surrounded by the most complete darkness, under hundreds of atmospheres of pressure and far from the sun’s rays. Life, in such conditions, was considered impossible… Until a recent exploration revealed the unexpected: there, taking advantage of the hydrothermal vents, were never-before-seen creatures making their way along at 11,000 metres of depth. Like the walking fish, the dumbo octopus, the dreamlike lizard fish or this marvellous glacialis, an organism capable of creating light by itself, transformed here into a Maxi earring.
