A good antidote against grey days.
Although they lived in the mouths of the caves, where natural light can still be glimpsed, our ancestors moved inside them to its most hidden corners. And perhaps the explosion of creativity that we witness through their tunnels was precisely inspired by this: by the play of light and shadow around them. Illuminated by the pulsating light of a campfire or a stone lamp laden with animal fat such as those found at Lascaux and Sarakino, the prominences and crevices of the rock walls suggested forms of Nature in the eyes of an imaginative child, such as clouds or snow reliefs. Thousands of years later, we repeat this ancestral experiment with this Maxi earring: project it against a wall and tell us what shape it evokes.
