The banket

At the palace’s majestic gardens a great banquet is about to be celebrated honoring Gamzatti and Solor. The big day has finally arrived. A bronze idol wiggles in suggestive circles as the Great Priest finalizes the wedding ceremony. Thereupon the grooms make their entry on a sumptuous parade till the altar. But Gamzatti’s face has suddenly changed. What happens? Why is she staring at that flower crown? Would it be due to the wedding’s nerves or does she have anything to hide? (Act III, scene I)
