A female bird-of-paradise observes the performance of a potential candidate. She pays close attention. He meticulously fine-tunes every element of the half-an-hour performance. Suddenly, the central character performs a violent gesture and steps aside. The female is startled. She scrambles and flies away. What just happened? Has he lost her? Wait, she’s coming back! The female returns! Jerónimo resumes his performances: hip play here, a little chirp there, pupils staring down and a happy ending!
