The loneliness

Mrs Chan and Mr Chow were both destined for loneliness. Irredeemably. Each scene embodies impotence, absence, unfulfilled opportunity. Both are haunted by their memories, doomed to a separate life. Fate imposes an atmosphere of nostalgia, of unbearable sorrow. The scenes are built on silence, on melancholy, on the painful memory and the impossible love. Whatever the situation, there is always a cruel paradox: that of two beings in need of surrender, desperate to fill their mutual loneliness, whose desires never overlap in time. And, if at some point they do, one of them, for one reason or another, will decide to wait.
