Monfragüe

Some 8,000 years ago, someone reached into the deepest bowels of Monfragüe. In the trembling light of the fire, they began to draw on its bare walls; a horse's head on a flint, a bull peeping out from the ledge of a rock, the jaws of a wolf emerging from a crevice, the back of a bison patiently traversing the rocky undulations; and a maple tree, with horns as long as its body, stretching out on the heights. Despite the abundance of images, there are more voids than presences, more secrets than evidence. A magical space to which we dedicate this Maxi pendant, and carry it with us wherever we go.
