Series III

No longer guided by the High Masters, Hilma began working with a ruler and compass on compositions that look more like formulas than paintings. Like this untitled work, where the circle, square, and triangle are stacked like steps in the same process.

In our design, we focus on the square and the inverted triangle, which are the key point where, according to Af Klint's code, an idea ceases to be spirit and becomes matter. Blue and yellow represent the contrast between the feminine and the masculine, and the resulting triangle represents the balance achieved.

Starting from the same original logic where levels follow one another without merging, one after another, we divided the piece into two independent structures—the sphere on one side, and the square and triangle on the other—so you can wear it as a Maxi or Mini, long or short, with one part or the whole thing.
