Series III

Context: without the guidance of the High Masters, Hilma begins to work with ruler and compass on compositions that look more like formulas than paintings. This untitled work is one of them, where circle, square and triangle stack up like steps in a single process.

Interpretation: we select the square and the inverted triangle, the key point at which, according to the artist's code, an idea stops being spirit and becomes matter. Blue and yellow stand for the contrast between the feminine and the masculine; the resulting triangle, for the balance reached between them.

Technique: working from the same original logic, in which the levels follow one another without ever merging, we divide the piece into two independent structures, square on one side, triangle on the other, so you can wear it as a single earring or complete.
