ASCENSION

Like in an inverted mirror, light has turned to darkness and the warm air to an icy coldness. The naked characters shiver with cold; their skin is tinged blue and even the water is covered with ice. Their delight has turned to torment and the music to infernal noise. The absence of a horizon permeates the space. There is no hope for the condemned. Lost in a tangle of spectral constructions enveloped in flames and black smoke, a tiny figure rises up the heavenly stairway. He is the Creator, emerging from the realm of the dead and rising towards salvation.
