In this collection, Paradise takes the form of a slope from which the four rivers flow towards the four regions of the world, as Genesis says: “And a river flowed from Eden to water the garden; and from there it was divided into four branches. The first is called the River Pison, which surrounds the entire land of Arabia, where gold and onyx abound; the second, the River Gihon, which flows through the land of Ethiopia; the third, the River Hiddekel, which flows through the land of the Assyrians; and the fourth, the River Euphrates”. A legendary landscape crystallised in this accessory with sinuous lines, an inexhaustible source of energy and rejuvenation like the water that gives life.
