One of the most striking aspects of this painting is Bacchus’s posture, not only because of the awkward position of his body, barely covered by a white tunic that reveals a muscular torso, but also because of his gaze, which is defiant, irreverent, hypnotic, and underpinned by the marked arch of his eyebrows. This curvature, a central feature of his face, was the starting point for this design; a mobile accessory that alternates two positions depending on the weight of the pieces. Thus, by means of an adaptable golden accessory, we create a play of positions as if it were a movement in the gaze.
