For accelerated characters: put them on and breath.
To our fascination for the complex multicellular organisms found during our trip to the Marianas, we must add that of some of the unicellular species encountered. At least, of the amoebas who make their homes 11,000 meters deep. And if not all the amoebas who live 11,000 metres below the surface, at least those recorded by Estefanía, Leire and Danaiel in the final descent. What makes them so special? Their ability to mutate, to change their form, to replicate with terrifying realism everything that comes before them. And we don’t say this lightly: when enlarging the photographs at 1:10,000 scale and after rubbing our eyes repeatedly, there was the evidence. The amoeba, as it swam around, had replicated our silhouettes!
