For Hilma, Nature is a spiritual code. A secret language that must be revealed. In every cell, in every living organism, she detects the manifestation of a sacred order. Her numerous botanical studies reveal the precise gaze of a scientific researcher analyzing the behavior of all kinds of trees, plants, buds, and seeds, only to record them meticulously in her notebooks. Like this horse chestnut, with its leaves opening in a fan from a single point, like the fingers of a hand.

Here, we delve into that beautiful gesture in which several leaflets in volume unfold so that the earring breathes like the leaf itself swaying in the air. We reduced the triangle of three colors on a pinwheel-divided square from the original plate to a golden circle. Always guided by this inspiring idea: how something can open in several directions without ever forgetting where it comes from.
