The torch

Holding a trembling torch, a young man ventures into the depths of a cave. This torch crawls through its tunnels. Twists to the right, then to the left, heading to an intricate grotto with engraved images of animals with tiny fragments of stone, and many-stroked inscriptions. It shifts its glance to face new obstacles and glides into a chamber whose extremes it cannot reach.
