According to the hindi sacred texts, the snake is an Earth’s symbol, mother of everything that moves. But it also represents the shadow’s power, able to evolve their victims in a spiral of darkness: as in this scene, in which its deadly bite will confine his victim to the afterlife. Without any intention of creating a bad atmosphere, here’s a doubt: may it rebirth strongly or to remain on the Death’s World for good? (Act I, scene III)
